Week 6: Be My Baby

 Be My Baby by The Ronettes. I love this song and have for a long time. It is on the movie Dirty Dancing which I am a big fan of. The song I think is dramatic but in all the right ways. I love the lead singer and her strong voice followed by back up singers who are also super talented. I love at two Minutes and seven second it has a pause of the singers and it adds just a nice break. The lyrics are a bit repetitive but so fetching good and catchy. She is tell the guy she loves him, and that she want him to be her guy. I think it is cute how she wants him to be her baby. She tells him how she will make him happy, and adores him. I read up on the song and they use the recording technique of over-dubbing. I personally this this song is great I think the lyrics and music go really well together. I could listen to this song everyday I love all of the Wha oh oh oh oh in the song. I think the Ronettes do a wonderful job singing this song!
